A key aspect of the London & SE BIM Regions BIM Series is engage the learner by encouraging participation both before and after the event itself.
The first event event takes place on 14th October, but before you hear what the speakers think about BIM …
what is your view?
Consider your thoughts on what you understand BIM to be and come prepared to challenge the experts.
PRE-EVENT READING MATERIAL
As a starting point, the following resources could be reviewed
- BIM Task Group
- Richard Saxon, the UK BIM Ambassador’s report Growth Through BIM
- Listen to Imagine by Fred Mills of The B1M a two-half minute video on what BIM could be
- Another useful resource is BIM+ bimplus.co.uk
- And see whether Stephen Hamil’s view is still applicable with the 7 key slides to be included in every BIM presentation
POST-EVENT SCENARIO ACTIVITY
On Wednesday 28th October, a scenario will be posted on this site for participants to consider. Your views can then be discussed in a twitter storm that will take place later that day between 7-8pm
