Why adopt BIM?

BIM02-2A key aspect of  the London & SE BIM Regions BIM Series is engage the learner by encouraging participation both before and after the event itself.

The second event event takes place on 11th November, but before you hear the speakers’ view of adopting BIM …

             what is your view? 

Consider your thoughts on what you understand BIM to be and come prepared to challenge the experts.

As a starting point, the following resources could be reviewed

  2. Richard Saxon, the UK BIM Ambassador’s report Growth Through BIM
  3. Watch “What Happens of I Don’t Do BIM” by Fred Mills of The B1M
    This short video provides a view on what will happen if ignore the furore around
  4. John Lorimer articulates “Why do need BIM?
  5. Another useful resource is BIM+

On Wednesday 18th November, a scenario will be posted on this site for participants to consider.  Your views can then be discussed in a twitter storm that will take place later that day between 7-8pm
