A key aspect of  the London & SE BIM Regions BIM Series is to engage the learner by encouraging participation both before and after the event itself.

This is the third post event scenario; you are to consider the question below and then participate in the Twitter Storm tonight between 7pm and 8pm using #beginBIM.

Your local authority client wants to achieve BIM Level 2 on all its construction projects. How would you advise the client to implement this?

You should consider:

  • The Government’s mandate for BIM?
  • What is BIM Level 2?
  • What standards have been developed by the government?
  • What documentation should be created as part of these standards?
  • What are the critical success factors in successfully implementing BIM?

PS Your feedback is invaluable; if you attended Event 3, please take a few minutes to complete our survey. Many thanks.
