A key aspect of  the London & SE BIM Regions BIM Series is to engage the learner by encouraging participation both before and after the event itself.

This is the fifth post event scenario; you are to consider the question below and then participate in the Twitter Storm tonight between 7pm and 8pm using #beginBIM.

You work for an organisation that has just started it’s BIM Journey. Your director is pleased with the progress is being made within the company, but what some answers about how the company should manage its data more effectively. What advice would you give?

You should consider:

  • The difference between data and information
  • The challenges in effectively managing data in the current construction industry
  • Tools that have been created to support the transition to a digital environment
  • The practical steps companies can take to facilitate better data management

PS Your feedback is invaluable; if you attended Event 5, please take a few minutes to complete our survey. Many thanks.
