#BeginBIM Scenario 6

A key aspect of  the London & SE BIM Regions BIM Series is to engage the learner by encouraging participation both before and after the event itself.

This is the sixth post-event scenario; you are to consider the question below and then participate in the Twitter Storm tonight between 7pm and 8pm using #beginBIM.

You are working on projects using BIM.  Your legal adviser has concerns over the legal implications of the contract documentation being discussed?

You should consider:

  • Whether you should be using the CIC BIM Protocol?
  • What are liabilities for the different parties of the supply chain?
  • whether there are implications for software providers
  • Who owns the data?
  • What are the future implications?

PS Your feedback is invaluable; if you attended Event 6, please take a few minutes to complete our survey. Many thanks.
