20:20 Series 1, No. 5: Education: are we fit for purpose?

Thursday 21st March 1:00pm – Room MG14 – Marylebone Campus

Each year Universities produce thousands of graduates from built environment courses. These graduates will play a key role in delivering the integrated supply chain which is at the heart of the Government’s Construction Strategy. Are these graduates suitably prepared to contribute to an industry in which collaboration and integration will be essential?

In this presentation Tony Burke examines the roots of our current models of built environment education and asks whether there might be better ways of educating the built environment professionals of the future.

The format is based on 20 minutes’ presentation followed by 20 minutes’ Q&A.
