20:20 S1: Intelligent Client: An oxymoron?

The Government Construction Strategy has recognised the need for further client skills development.  The subsequent Procurement: Lean Client Task Report has defined the charateristics of an “intelligent client”.

This seminar will reflect on these defined characteristics and question whether it is appropriate to use the term ‘intelligent client’.  It will also consider the future challenges the built environment faces and how the Government’s aspiration for collaboration may affect the behaviour of the intelligent client.
