20:20 S1: Low carbon: is it a price worth paying?

Sustainability was made a global issue with the Kyoto Protocol.  In UK we have legislated, in the form of the Climate Change Act 2008, to reduce our emission of all greenhouse gases by 80% by 2050.

What does this mean for Construction? Why focus on carbon and why set a target of 2050?
