Blackboard Ultra Updates

This page will be periodically updated to provide links to information about the monthly updates to both Blackboard Learn Ultra (for asynchronous learning) and Blackboard Collaborate Ultra (for synchronous learning) at Westminster. The updates will provide brief details of new features around one week in advance of them appearing on the live systems to staff and student users. The page will also feature news about future planned road map developments. In addition, we have a dedicated page where you can see the known issues affecting Blackboard which are being investigated by Blackboard and Turnitin.

Blackboard are developing Blackboard Collaborate continually. In the first quarter of next year they are targetting changes that will see:
– improved whiteboard annotation tools  
– capability to use the whiteboard like a flip and to save and download whiteboard files
