Now that exams are over, many of you may be thinking of how you can use the summer to gain skills and experience to improve your CV and may be looking for an internship, part time role, volunteering or even your first graduate role. Some may be wishing to progress your careers or change direction, whatever your situation – the annual summer skills academy will be of interest and value to you.
To start off the week long skills academy, the Career Development Centre have partnered with Goldman Sachs to bring to you for the third time – a day with Goldman Sachs on Monday 4th June starting at 10am at the Marylebone campus.
You will have the chance to attend skills sessions throughout the day and have the fantastic opportunity to not only gain invaluable advice, knowledge and information to boost your skills; you will get to meet and have the chance to network with up to 15 professionals across a range of careers from Goldman Sachs throughout the day.
Led by the talented team of Careers Consultants at the University, three interactive sessions set throughout the day with regular intervals will take place including CVs, Commercial Awareness and Interview preparation and will be fully supported by the Goldman Sachs team who will be providing input and carrying out activities with students in each session.
*Please note that these sessions are not designed specifically for students with an interest in Corporate Banking and are open to all students across all faculties at both UG and PG levels*
