During the academic year 2009/10, volunteering units at a group of eight London-based universities, including the University of Westminster joined forces in order to measure the impact of volunteering on university students.

This project was led by Imperial College London which had conducted similar impact assessments previously, based on the Volunteering Impact Assessment Toolkit devised by the Institute for Volunteering Research.

The full report will be out soon. A 2-page research bulletin is out now summarising the main findings. Click here to read the bulletin.
