The Big London Night Walk 2017 is a Friday night with a difference that helps to highlight the challenges facing people who are homeless. We are looking for volunteers to help us make this an amazing event for up to 300 walkers.
This a great opportunity for The Big Issue Foundation’s supporters to see the capital in a whole new light and hear from Big Issue vendors. Required roles include registering participants and welcoming them to rest stops.
Starting off in central London at St John’s Church, Waterloo (home to one of The Big Issue magazines distribution points), the unique route through central London will take participants on a tour of the iconic sites at night. Walkers will visit locations connected with our important work, and get the opportunity to hear personal insights from Big Issue vendors along the way on this 12 mile route.
We are looking for up to 10 fabulous volunteers to help us make this an amazing experience for all our walkers at this rest stop.
We also have a variety of different roles across London helping out on different shifts between 6pm and 6am from Friday 3rd March – Saturday 4th March.
For more volunteering opportunities, come to our Volunteering Fair taking place on 22nd February at 12.30 pm in Fyvie Hall (Regent Street Campus).
With over 35 new vacancies every week, always check Engage for brand new volunteering opportunities.
