Volunteering Opportunity with Team Sense

Ever wanted to take part in the London Marathon but running the 26.2 miles putting you off? Why not take part in the action by joining our Sense volunteer team on Sunday 23rd April 2017? This year we have around 500 runners in the London Marathon and need lots of supportive volunteers.

Sense is a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind.

What will I be doing?

We’re looking for lots of enthusiastic and friendly volunteers with loud cheering voices to encourage our runners along our four cheering points along the route. Please feel free to bring family and friends with you to enjoy the event and support the team.

We’re also looking for volunteers to join our meet and great team. You’ll be congratulating our runners as they cross over the finish line and lead them to the well-deserved post- race party, where they will be treated to refreshments and a well- earned massage.

What do I get?

You’ll get a Sense t-shirt to wear with pride and stand out from the crowd, and of course our eternal gratitude. In addition we’ll also reimburse your travel (up to £10).

If you would like to get involved in this fantastic event, please email eventsteam@sense.org.uk, or for more information please call 0300 330 9257.
