The University of Westminster website is undergoing redevelopment to position the site strategically with the University’s marketing strategy. There are several phases of development requiring attention:
- Content identification/ownership/management
- Site map and navigation
- Content production
- Page layouts
- Site construction
- Content publishing
- Design of a new skin
A restructured site and management protocol for content are the two most critical issues, with the design process starting at the end of the year.
We are expecting to launch the newly structured website Monday 31 October 2011. There will be considerably more work required post launch in reviewing content and investigating continuous support to ensure the website stays current and meets its objectives.
