APM Project Management Careers Evening

Monday 6th November 6:00pm – 8:30pm

The  Association for Project  Management  (APM) is  holding  a  project management careers evening at Friends House on Monday 6th November from 18:00 until 20:30. The event is suitable for students and recent graduates who are interested in a career in project management.

The APM London Branch is delighted to present two speakers with expertise in project management careers;

Vince Hines is Managing Director of Wellingtone Project Management and will give an insight into the types of PM roles in London and how a career might evolve. Vince will also give tips on how to write a good CV and share findings from the latest APM Salary Survey.

Carol Mould is an Organisational Psychologist focusing on career coaching, who also lectures in project management and soft skills. Carol will highlight the changing world of work and attendees will leave with a good understanding of how to position themselves strategically for a future-proofed project management career.

Additionally, Josh Chana will provide a short introduction to the APM Young Leaders’ Forum, a new initiative for the London Branch that will be run by you as Student Members.

These short talks will be followed by a networking opportunity. 6 leading project management firms and recruiters will be on hand to offer advice on current opportunities and skills sought by employers.

There will be food and refreshments available for the networking session. This free event will provide a valuable insight into how to make the most of potential project management career paths and an introduction to the Association for Project Management (APM).
