National policy on flood risk management is increasingly focused on the benefit of flood risk management interventions to communities and empowering them to take ownership and work with partners. This presents a challenge to many organisations. The aim of this conference was to explore the details of this approach and by assessing evidence from early lessons from the Flood Resilience Community Pathfinders and other projects.
