An evocative insight into the landscape and lives of the tight knit community living on the isolated Island of Gigha off the Southwest coast of Scotland.

The residents on the island combined resources to buy the island and run a variety of self-supporting businesses. The wind farm that makes enough electricity to power their homes and to sell the surplus to the National Grid.
