Director Anna Moll 2012

Margot Friedlander and Agnes Sassoon are very different women but they seem strangely connected through their life stories. They have never met but they share one thing: they survived the holocaust.

According to Agnes “one is worth more than five million”- a provoking thought, that the film plays with. Survivors allows the viewer to get a close up of the women’s experience, it makes the holocaust unique to them.

Their common experience has affected their lives forever and they are still anxious to tell their story, as long as it can still be told.
