Welcome to “Belonging at Westminster”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nBelonging means something a little different to each of us. Here at the University of Westminster it often starts in everyday interactions \u2014 the warm welcome at an event, the chat after a lecture, the feeling that you don\u2019t have to leave parts of yourself at the door to fit in. These small moments add up, and before you know it, campus begins to feel less like a place you go and more like a community you\u2019re part of.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
For some, that sense of belonging grows through joining a society, volunteering, or getting involved in one of our networks or student Empowerment programmes; for others, it appears in a quieter way, like finding just one person who really \u201cgets\u201d you. However it shows up, belonging at Westminster isn\u2019t about having the same story \u2014 it\u2019s about knowing your story matters here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nIn this blog, we\u2019ll be sharing honest, everyday experiences from students and colleagues across the University.
