Embedding a Panopto video is a great way to encourage communication with the students, and also a great way to create an inclusive and engaging module site. You can embed a Panopto video to your content page, documents, assignments, tests and forms.<\/span><\/p>

This is can only be done on BlackBoard and not on Turnitin.<\/span><\/p>

To embed a Panopto video on a Document page\/Assignment in BlackBoard. Select or Create a new “Document” or “Assignment”.\u00a0<\/p>

Select “Content”. This will open up a text box in which you can add text, images, documents, and Panopto videos.<\/p>

To the right-hand side select the “insert content” [1] this is signified as a plus sign with the arrow pointing down. A drop down menu will appear, select the option “Content Market” [2].<\/p>

The Content Market page will open up with a list of different LTI’s. Select the option “Panopto Embed a Video (Ultra).\u00a0<\/p>

\"Embed<\/p>

This will open the Panopto Embed Video page where you can choose which video you to embed to the Document or Assignment.\u00a0<\/p>

\"Embed1) You can embed the video from another module site.<\/p>

2) You can choose any video you have saved in your module site.<\/p>

3) You can upload a video from your desktop<\/p>

4) You can create a new recording.\u00a0<\/p>

For this example if you have chosen a video from your Panopto module folder select the circle icon next to the video [5] and then select “Insert” this button is located at the bottom of the upload page.<\/p>

Once you have selected “insert” the Panopto page will automatically close and you will see a pop up box giving you the option to change the display name of the video or to insert the video.\u00a0<\/p>

Embedding a video in a test or form in BlackBoard is a great way to better communicate to your students on what you expect from them or it can be used as a part of the test\/quiz.\u00a0<\/p>

To do this you need to select the plus sign on the test\/form page. A drop down menu will appear and you need to select “Add Text”.\u00a0<\/p>

Embedding a Panopto video on your module site is an easy way for students to access the relevant recording. To do this hover your mouse over the area of the page and select the purple plus sign. A drop-down menu will appear. Select “Content Market”.<\/p>
