Consistent Save and Cancel options in Settings page \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

To improve usability and consistency, we standardized the Save and Cancel actions across several assessment settings pages.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

This enhancement includes the following updates:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

  • Timer settings: Removed the <\/span>X<\/span><\/b> icon and added <\/span>Save<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>Cancel<\/span><\/b> buttons.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
    • Access code settings: Replaced <\/span>Close<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>Continue<\/span><\/b> with <\/span>Cancel<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>Save<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
      • Learning Outcome Measurements: Removed the <\/span>X<\/span><\/b> icon and added <\/span>Save<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>Cancel<\/span><\/b> buttons.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
        • Turnitin Originality Report settings: Removed the <\/span>X<\/span><\/b> icon and added <\/span>Save<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>Cancel<\/span><\/b> buttons. SafeAssign settings remain unchanged.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          Tag questions with metadata in tests and question banks \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

          \u00a0<\/span>Questions can have multiple tags of the same type. Metadata is visible during question creation\/editing and can be used to filter questions when reusing or adding to pools. Metadata is not visible to students during test-taking or review.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

          Supported metadata types include:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

          • Category<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
            • Topics<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
              • Levels of Difficulty<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
                • Keywords<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

                  Require questions before making forms visible to students\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

                  \u00a0<\/span>We improved the visibility controls for forms to align with those of tests ensuring that students only access complete and purposeful assessments.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

                  Instructors must first add at least one question to a form before they can make it visible to students. Release conditions cannot be set until the form includes questions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

                  Improved student experience with Fill in the Blank question type\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

                  Fill in the blank questions now display the blanks in line with the surrounding text, whether the question is presented as a sentence, paragraph, or table. We also added hidden ARIA labels to blanks to improve screen reader accessibility.<\/span><\/p>
