Below is a guide on how to migrate or convert your rubrics from Turnitin to Blackboard, to help migrate all rubrics to Blackboard Assignments.<\/p>

Step 1: Download The Turnitin Rubric<\/a><\/span><\/p>

Go to the module site where you have your Turnitin assignment and rubric.<\/p>

Tip: You can access a Turnitin rubric from any Turnitin assignment where there are submissions if you want to \u2018bulk\u2019 download them.<\/p>

To download an existing Turnitin rubric, open an existing assignment paper where it was used.<\/p>

Click on the Rubric header on the right-hand panel.<\/p>

\"Download<\/p>

Then click on Settings. This will launch the Rubric viewing page below.<\/p>

\"Download<\/p>

Click on the 3 lines at the top left-hand side. Then select Download<\/strong>.<\/p>

\"Download<\/p>

The file has been saved and is now ready to be uploaded to the Blackboard assignment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Step 2: Upload the Turnitin rubric <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Go to the Module site where you intend to create the Blackboard assignment \/ where the rubric needs to be added.<\/p>

On the right-hand panel, click on \u2018Books and Tools\u2019.<\/p>

Navigate down to the Rubric Conversion tool and click on it.<\/p>

The Rubric Conversion page will open.<\/p>

\"Upload<\/p>

Under Source Type, select RBC. Under Rubric Type select either Points or Percentage as necessary.<\/p>

Leave the Course ID as it is.<\/p>

Click Choose File, then select the Turnitin RBC file on your PC that you downloaded in Step 1.<\/p>

Once you have added the rbc file you get a Preview of it as above. Please check it and make sure it is correct.<\/p>

To upload it, click on Transform and Send Rubrics to Blackboard<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

Once you have clicked this, check the message to confirm it has been correctly added:<\/p>

Go to the Blackboard module and select the Blackboard assignment you want to add the converted rubric to. You will need to navigate to the Assignment Settings<\/p>

Click on the cog at the top to go into the Settings.<\/p>

Navigate down to the section called \u2018Use marking rubric\u2019. Click on Add Marking Rubric.<\/p>

\"Add<\/p>

On the next page you will find the Rubric(s) you have added as well as any existing (old) Blackboard rubrics. Locate the one converted.<\/p>

You can then View<\/strong> or Add<\/strong> to the Assignment as required.<\/p>
