As a group you can assign one student to submit on behalf of the group. The submission will be recognised as a group submission so group members do not need to make separate submissions.\u00a0<\/p>

To submit the assignment, go to the relevant module site and locate the assignment in either the Assessment folder, or you can locate the submission link in the “Gradebook” which is on the top row of the module site.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The submission panel will open up on the right hand side of the module page. Select the option “Start Attempt” or if you are allowed to make multiple submission select the option “Start Attempt 1”. As shown below.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The assignment submission page will open up<\/p>

You can:<\/p>

  1. Write text in the submission box.<\/span><\/li>
  2. Copy and embed link.<\/span><\/li>
  3. Add attachments such as Word document, PowerPoint slides and PDF documents.<\/span><\/li>
  4. Attach an image file.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  5. Upload video through Panopto submission folder – Follow this guide on<\/span> how to submit a video assignment<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    WARNING:<\/strong> A group assignment submission link only permits ONE attempt. This means that if your group members each need to submit a file as part of the group assignment, you will need to co-ordinate this within your group. We advise that you either nominate one member of the group to make the submissions on behalf of the whole group OR, as each member uploads their contribution to the assignment THEY MUST make sure that they click only on \u2018Save and Close\u2019 and not \u2018Submit\u2019.<\/p>

    Only when all files that make up the submission have been added should one member of the group click the \u2018Submit\u2019 button.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    To submit a document, select the paperclip icon, and select the document you wish to submit. Then click Save on the “Edit File Options”.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Confirm that you wish to submit for the group. After that you will receive a message saying “Your submission was successful”. You can download the receipt from here and you will receive a email confirmation to your university email address.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Once the submission has been made, you will be bought back to the submission panel. From here everyone in the group can see when submission was made and will see their marks in the submission panel.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
