This year Breast Cancer Care have been chosen as the official charity partner for the Women’s Tour, the most prestigious women’s cycling event in the world. On Sunday 11th June, we will also be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Pink Ribbon, and as part of this 1000 women will be cycling 25km around the same circuit as the professionals in central London. For one day the streets will be lined with cheering supporters as London turns pink and comes together for those affected by breast cancer. We are looking for volunteers to join us on this special day and bucket collect across the iconic route in and around Trafalgar Square. We are looking for volunteers to bucket collect for one hour anytime between 11-5pm, in return they will be able to be part of the Pink Ribbontour, receive a certificate from Breast Cancer Care for volunteering and have access to the merchandise and sponsor stalls within Trafalgar Square.
If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to call me on 0207 960 3560 or email Robyn.Carlson@breastcancercare.org.uk.
