The “Democratic Engagement in an International Context” module is designed for second-year undergraduates in the University of Westminster’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. It is a collaboration between the Centre for Education and Teaching Innovation (CETI), Education, Diversity, and Equality, and international universities in Thailand, Vietnam, and Turkey. This course aims to give students a deep understanding of cross-cultural research and its global significance. Depending on logistics, students may visit any of these countries for a field trip. During the trip, students will have the opportunity to engage with community leaders, local officials, and activists who are dedicated to promoting democratic values. They will also attend seminars and workshops to gain insight into the political, economic, and social landscape.<\/p>\n
