To begin our journey of fostering awareness around mindful and sustainable digital culture at Westminster, we’re launching a special series of 24 blog posts starting on 1st December.  

This series is inspired by the tradition of advent calendars, which bring a sense of anticipation and engagement in the lead-up to the holiday season. From the classic charm of chocolate-filled and picture calendars to more recent variations featuring beauty products, toy sets, gourmet treats, and even pet calendars, advent calendars have become a popular way to count down to the holidays. Many cultures around the world also have their own versions, offering everything from small treats to daily surprises, each with a unique twist on counting down to and celebrating seasonal traditions. 

Our virtual festive calendar will focus on digital wellbeing and digital sustainability, providing an opportunity to reflect on mindful habits that benefit both ourselves and the planet.  

We also look forward to including responses from the Westminster community, enriching our blog space with diverse perspectives and insights.
