About

Enact: A repository built for practice research

Delivered by a team of academic, repository, research data and open standards experts, in co-design with all Enact communities

Enact’s vision is to enable practice researchers to share the full narrative of their creations, to add content and facilitate adoption. This includes the methods, processes and context underpinning them and to enhance the reach, persistence, connectability and recognition of the value of their creations in the wider world.

Enact’s mission is to deliver a function-rich, intuitive, and beautiful digital space to preserve, share, and fully account for the insights in artistic works and the processes of their creation. We will achieve this by using innovating and emerging technologies and information approaches, underpinned by global open standards and best practices, and by building community skills and capacity to strengthen PR. Our work is informed by a participative and inclusive model of practice that recognises all contributions to the creation of all forms of knowledge.
