The British Council\u2019s Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia<\/em> (AELLCA) programme is a major initiative aimed at strengthening English language teacher education and professional development across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

By working in partnership with local governments and organisations, the programme supports efforts to enhance the quality of education and promote inclusivity both nationally and regionally.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

AELLCA is funded by the UK government through UK International Development and forms part of the Accelerating Education Attainment for Resilience \u2013 Central Asia<\/em> (AEAR-CA) initiative. The programme is designed to improve teacher expertise, uphold education quality standards, and advance English language learning, aligning with the national education reform priorities of all five countries.<\/p>\n

Through the integration of UK expertise and local knowledge, the British Council is driving significant improvements in teaching methods and student learning outcomes.<\/p>\n
