Using the UN definition of gender empowerment, we group the practices into five groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/geseguide\/?p=68\"><strong>Practice 1. What did social enterprises do to promote<\/strong> <strong>women\u2019s sense of self-worth or appraisal of one\u2019s own value<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/geseguide\/practice-2\/\">Practice 2. What did social enterprises do to provide the women the right to have and to determine choices<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/geseguide\/practice-3\/\">Practice 3. What did social enterprises do to enable women gain&nbsp; access to opportunities and resources<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/geseguide\/practice-4\/\">Practice 4. What did social enterprises do to expand women\u2019s&nbsp; control their own lives, both within and outside the home<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/geseguide\/practice-5\/\">Practice 5.
