The son of a coal miner and a chemist, he originally studied engineering before carving out a world-class career in photography &#8211; all while navigating the industry as a color-blind photographer, a revelation he only discovered later in life! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join Brendon and Garry as they dive into: \u2022 Garry&#8217;s childhood roots in Northeast England. \u2022 His early days starting out as an assistant in a photography lab. \u2022 Fascinating stories from his international projects, including working with the United Nations. \u2022 His incredible community-driven work based in Fitzrovia and along the Lower Lea, transforming neglected spaces &#8211; from old GP surgeries to Victorian steamships &#8211; into vibrant cultural hubs.
