Without a doubt, studying in London is going to be one of the most exciting experiences of your life.\u00a0Apart of all the knowledge and skills that you will gain, there are so many places to visit and spend time in such as parks, gardens and museums.<\/p>\n

But please don’t forget about the incredible festivals taking place in this city as well! If you save some money and manage your time efficiently, you will live experiences that are definitely going to take your breath away. Here are the festivals that you certainly can’t miss! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

EFG London Jazz Festival<\/a><\/h1>\n

This festival celebrates jazz for 10 days in\u00a0great style.\u00a0More than 300 gigs with around 2,000 artists are organised in more than 50 locations every November to bring the best and freshest music to London.<\/p>\n

There are concerts, club events, and talks to please all tastes. I would suggest arranging tickets two months in advance in order to avoid disappointments. \ud83d\ude09\u00a0Obviously the prices vary according to the artists and locations, but you can find excellent gigs that cost between \u00a310 and \u00a325.\u00a0This year, the Festival is happening from 11 to 20 November 2016.<\/p>\n

British Summer Time (BST) – Hyde Park<\/a><\/h1>\n

BST happens in July and takes place in Hyde Park.\u00a0You have two weekends full of great artists and attractions to visit. The highlights of this year were Florence & The Machine<\/a> (Yeaaah!), Mumford & Sons<\/a>, Carole King<\/a>, Take That<\/a>, and Stevie Wonder<\/a>.\u00a0The tickets are not as cheap as we would love it to be, but it is totally worth it! Start looking for tickets around May, I would say.<\/p>\n

Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC)<\/a><\/h1>\n

Another great festival happening in July is the EDC. This festival is especially organised for those who love to be in an environment filled with passion for music and art.\u00a0It used to happen in London, however now takes place in the National Bowl, which is one hour way. There is a coach that departs from Victoria Station.\u00a0Do not let the distance discourage you! The magic festival will certainly provide an unique experience.<\/p>\n

Holi Festival of Colours<\/a><\/h1>\n

The Holi Festival is inspired in the Hindu Spring Festival of sharing love. In London this festival normally happens in August, however, there are also other events throughout\u00a0the year. The important thing is, please do gooooo to a Holi event at least once! Be prepared to be in an extremely colourful, fun and hilarious environment. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0If you are planning to go to the Holi Festival in August, I recommend that\u00a0buy your ticket at least 2 months in advance. Because the tickets tend to sell\u00a0out very quickly.<\/p>\n
