Practice Research Voices (PR Voices) is a scoping project that aims to engage with all communities involved in, working with and supporting practice research.<\/p>\n

Practice research is defined by the Practice Research Reports <\/a>published in 2021 (Bully & \u015eahin) as: “An umbrella term that describes all manners of research where practice is the significant method of research conveyed in a research output. this includes numerous discipline-specific formulations of practice research, which have distinct and unique balances of practice, research narrative and complementary methods within their projects.” <\/em><\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n Based on this feedback and using existing repository technology and standards we will build a prototype that supports the capture, preservation and discoverability of your research.<\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n For further information please see the PRVoices project blog<\/a> post: Practice Research Voices (PR Voices): Scoping the Open Library of Practice Research<\/a> and information about the three project workstreams: repositories<\/a>, metadata and persistent identifiers<\/a> and building a community of practice<\/a>. <\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n We need your insights in order to best understand the diverse needs of these communities.<\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n What are we asking you to do:<\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n The project extends from a knowledge base in art and design practice into other disciplinary contexts where practice is a key mode of enquiry.<\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n The surveys will be open from now until 11:59 British Summer Time on Monday 18 April 2022 (Easter Monday). \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n If you have any questions please contact Jenny Evans (PI) on J.Evans2@westminster.ac.uk<\/p>\n \n\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n The PRVoices project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Council (AHRC) (Grant number AH\/W007622\/1).
