The Routledge Dark Tourism collection brings together over 45 free journal articles on an array of subject areas, from behavioral sciences to geography, and showcases the international scale on which this phenomenon takes place. The collection explores Dark Tourism on an international scale, and discusses the locations themselves, the reason why they draw thousands of visitors each year, their cultural significance and how local bodies promote the darker side of their region’s history.
