This episode transports you to a new planet and takes you on a journey to explore. It combines sound art and a presenter voice to provide a new genre of guided meditation.
Treatment:
‘Dreamers Incorporated’ invites you to try out their dream pod which can transport you to an infinite variety of destinations. In this episode, it brings you to Planet Vita Nova, a new planet bursting with new life. The dream pod takes you through the different temporal areas of the planet, from the ocean to a rainforest, from the beach to the stars. It uses various layered sfx to create a sense of virtual reality, whereby it encourages you to use your imagination. The episode opens with the listener in the Dreamers Incorporated HQ where they enter the dream pod and are transported. The presenter’s voice travels with the listener to explain each location of the planet; similar to a tour guide. The best way to listen to this would be through headphones as it uses binaural sound to create a fully immersive experience.

Short Synopsis:
This episode is created as a guided meditation podcast for children. Sugarplum Mary has been sent by Santa himself to take your child on a trip to Santa’s workshop! It combines sound art and a presenter voice to provide a new genre of guided meditation.
Treatment:
Sugarplum Mary is one of Santa’s Elves, sent all the way from the North Pole to visit your child. She talks to them about the excitement of waiting for Christmas Day to come around, recalls the names of Santa’s reindeer and takes them on a magical ride on the sleigh all the way to the workshop. Once they land and take a walk in the snow, Sugarplum Mary takes your child on a tour of each of the rooms in the workshop before dropping them home to get some rest before the arrival of Santa on Christmas morning. This is a presenter led guided meditation that layers various sfx to create an audio VR experience that allows children to use their imagination. In order to get the best audio experience of this podcast, headphones should be used as there are some binaural sounds included.
