\n<\/strong>Abby Pender\/Shamima Dowlut Interview<\/p>\n

Abby\u2019s stepdad Robert has been deaf since birth and has grown up in a complete deaf family. Abby and her family have had to make a lot of sacrifices, and adapt to life living with someone with a disability. Her stepdad came into her life when she was still a baby, so she grew up knowing that he was deaf. In this interview, she shares her views and how hard it is to really to live with a deaf person and some of the obstacles her and her family have overcome.
\nThis idea for this interview came from my friend Sarah, who told me her cousin is struggling a little bit with family issues and the reason being because her step dad is deaf.<\/p>\n

In this conversation Elizabeth and Robert decide to talk about something they are passionate about which is \u201cThe Producer musical.\u201d The Producer is a musical which is produced by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from the Brooks\u2019 1968 film of the same name. The lyrics written and music created are all done by Brooks. The film and the musical have the same story which is about 2 theatrical producers who scheme to become rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. The humour of the show touches on ridiculous accents, parodies of homosexuals and Nazis and various of other jokes. Elizabeth and Robert talk about the musical and ask for each others opinions on the different stereotypes that are portrayed in the musical.<\/p>\n
