{"id":6643,"date":"2019-10-28T16:28:31","date_gmt":"2019-10-28T16:28:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westminsterradio.net\/?p=6643"},"modified":"2019-10-28T16:28:31","modified_gmt":"2019-10-28T16:28:31","slug":"6643-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/radio\/6643-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Music Radio Blog: Hannah-Louise Joseph"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Week 1 of Production.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>28th October .<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So far as a group\u00a0 we have had several group meetings with our Editor Charlie.Discussing our roles, clock schedule ,music playlist , advertising , competition, target audience and visual branding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For this assignment I have been assigned the role of Branding\u00a0 producer.Which one of criteria is to ensure the imaging reflects the brands station, which will be included in our branding page Absolute 80&#8217;s.To meet my task\u00a0 for this week, I will be producing a photography shoot with our presenter Lauren to include In our brand visuals . Designing a colourful 80&#8217;s geometric shape background , neon font and a Lunch box. The lunch box is a representation of the show &#8216;Lunch with Lauren&#8217; and was also a trend of the 80&#8217;s. Once this is completed I will check with charlie to see if the design is suited to our brand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6644\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/radio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2019\/10\/53392559-bright-template-80s-abstraktne-geometric-shapes-on-a-blue-background-illustration-for-hipster-memphi-300x171.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"171\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">80&#8217;s\u00a0 abstract geometric shapes, created by the Memphis group.This pattern was popular and\u00a0 used for furniture designs, album covers, and clothing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6645\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/radio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2019\/10\/download-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lunch box collections during the 80&#8217;s was popular during the 80&#8217;s amongst kids.Lunchboxes featured characters from the A team,Gremlin, The Muppet&#8217;s and many more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6646\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.westminster.ac.uk\/radio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2019\/10\/44ea13ef0bd8873987c57533cfc517b9-1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"291\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Top of the pops 80&#8217;s branding logo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bright\u00a0 colours and Neon\u00a0 defined the 80&#8217;s. Neon and bright colours were used in film television and album covers\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I have also been assigned the role of helping the advertising team with their adverts.During\u00a0 the meetings we discussed I will be producing 2 out of 12 adverts. The adverts are Money super market and Boots .I\u00a0 would have to make sure the advert meets our target audience age group 45-60 . Including coming up with a solid idea and scripting the adverts.Once the advertising task is completed I will have to check with the head of advertising Andrea to see if the adverts created\u00a0 is appropriate for our target audience .<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Week 1 of Production.\u00a0 28th October .
