Europe found itself at the centre of another global conflict.\u00a0 This time the battlefield was much closer to home and the Regent Street Polytechnic&#8217;s central London location meant that the threat of air raids was very significant.<\/span><\/h5><h5><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Nevertheless, the Polytechnic spirit endured and the institution pulled together to maintain its teaching and social activities and provide support to its members in the armed forces.<\/span><\/h5><h5><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">In this online exhibition, using the University Archive&#8217;s digitised resources, we examine the Poly&#8217;s wartime experience between 1939-1945.<\/span><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
