Participedia is a global crowdsourcing platform for researchers, activists, policy makers, practitioners, educators and anyone interested in public participation and democratic innovations. It provides up-to-date information about public participation and organisations promoting democratic innovation. Participedia is currently building a collection of cases on public participation and climate change. Digital Ambassadors will contribute to this collection by researching and adding new cases. This represents a unique opportunity to be part of a growing digital resource on climate action, working alongside leading university researchers and practitioners, enhancing their student experience beyond academia.<\/p>

Digital Ambassadors will also develop the following skills, enhancing their employability:<\/p>

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Research skills, in particular the ability to identify and collate web-based materials and undertake elite interviews<\/p>

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Analytical skills, in particular the ability to analyse and make sense of complex processes\u00a0<\/p>

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Collaboration skills, in particular the ability to work effectively in a team of peers and with established researchers<\/p>

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Independent working skills, in particular the ability to organise and deliver on agreed outcomes<\/p>
