In late hours of the evening (Saturday 14th November) Metropolitan Police Officers received numerous calls from worrying neighbours concerned about a fight taking place.

The fight broke out on the Dalgarno Estate on Sutton Way, in Kensington and Chelsea.

According to the Metropolitan police; the 30 young males were all armed with knives, weapons and baseball bats.

They were fighting and even caused damaged to a vehicle nearby.

Police announced the fight via social media around 6:30 am, however the time of the actual fight took place around 10:15pm the previous evening.

A total of seven arrests were made, all aged between 15 and 18.

This was for numerous reasons; including drugs, offensive weapons, violent behaviour, possession with intent to supply and criminal damage.

Police have confirmed the injury of a 15-year-old boy who was treated by medics at the scene before being taken to hospital.

It is said he was only suffering with minor injuries.

Around 1:00 am the previous morning, the police advised the public that a Section 60 was being placed in the area.

This allowed the police to have greater power to stop and search.

This order was put into place as the Met Police had already dealt with two other felonies within the area since Friday evening.

Friday, 13th November, a stabbing took place on Blantyre Street in Chelsea at around 6 o’clock in the evening.

A 17-year old boy was rushed into hospital, however his injuries were not life-threatening.

Around a similar time, the police were called to Hammersmith and Fulham area as a 14-year old boy had been stabbed.

Both incidents were less than a mile apart.
