With Christmas fast-approaching, I explore the beauty of Christmas markets. I checked out Hyde Park’s annual Winter Wonderland event, along with a comparison of the popular Christmas markets in Germany.

: The German language having an influence on Winter Wonderland.

: The largest Christmas tree in Dresden.

: This is a very similar feature which happens to hold pride of place in Dresden’s Striezelmarkt.

: Dresden’s version of the toy tower.

: The stalls at Winter Wonderland.

: An example of the individuality of all of the huts in the German markets. This is something Germans are very proud of.
