This Monday, Regent Street Cinema will be the proud host to the world’s first invisible cinema.

The audience will try brand new technology where polarisation filters from a load of LCD screens are removed, leaving the screen blank.

The only way to see the movie is to put on a pair of specially designed viewing glasses. They are equipped with polarisation filters to fill the gaps on-screen and make the images appear.

Now You See Me (2013) will be the film screened, which focuses on a group of illusionists, played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco.

This free screening is offered by Santander as a part of the For Your Eyes Only campaign, which found that 85% of 18-25 year olds share personal information on social media.

They aim to warn and educate young people about the dangers of sharing information online that could leave them vulnerable to scammers.

To help raise awareness, the company have arranged a short video to play on the day with tips on how to stay safe from internet scams. 2018 Love Island winner will star in the short clip, giving advice on how he keeps things private online.

The types of information Santander wants their customers to keep to themselves include online banking passwords and PIN numbers.

Only one screening has been scheduled so far.
