‘Sun’s out, Bun’s out’ – London restaurants to eat at this Summer

By Shakira Bruce

Let’s be real, the UK is not blessed with good weather, and we were certainly unfortunate to get hit with rain and chilly weather from the middle and throughout of March. But we all know if there’s anything that London can accomplish, it’s the views and food. Don’t let the dark skys and cold weather fool you, London has some pretty good places to get your feast on. And now that summer is also right around the corner and the sun is coming out, it’s time to get the buns out. Literally. And grab a plate. With restaurants that allow people to eat in the sky to restaurants near the shore, it is bound to be a great summer if you go to these restaurants.

If you’re feeling for high and warm skys with a stunning view during the summer, take yourself forty floors up, to Duck and Waffle, based in the center of London’s city. Named after its well-known dish, a fried duck egg served along with maple syrup – a signature at Duck and Waffle – this can be enjoyed at breakfast, lunch and dinner as it is 24 hours a day restaurant. If you’re feeling for a spontaneous yet glamorous night out with “bae”, then this is certainly a restaurant for the books.

But if you’re feeling to look out instead of down, I have, yet another, wonderful recommendation for you. Aren’t you lucky? Serving different varietys of non-alcoholic drinks, including a delicious Piña colada, halal wines and an Anatolian cuisine, Coco Grill and Lounge calls your name. And to put the icing on the cake, it is located right near the river and Tower Bridge, offering a beautiful view of the Thames. With its dark, seductive yet cheeky interior, this one is hard not to miss, making a great place for your Instagram photos.
