A teenager has been arrested for the murder of Jamalie Maleek Deacon Matthew.

The 16-year-old appeared in Harrow magistrates court on Wednesday, 18 November and was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

17 – year old Jamalie Maleek had been found suffering stab injuries on November 12 and was pronounced dead at the scene at 16:40 that afternoon.

 

Police have named the teenager that died after suffering stab wounds on Thursday afternoon (November 12) outside Northwick Park station.

The 17-year-old was aspiring law student Jamalie Maleek Deacon Matthew from Harrow. His family are devastated and have said they are shocked someone would want to harm him.

A teenage boy has died after a stabbing in North-West London this afternoon.

At 15:50 today, Police were called to Northwick Park tube station to reports of a stabbing.

The 17-year-old boy was found suffering stab wounds, and despite emergency services’ best efforts, passed away just after 16:40 this afternoon.

Scotland Yard confirmed the crime scene remains in place and enquiries will continue, as no arrests have been made so far. Northwick Park station has been closed and cordoned off since the incident.

Students who live in Harrow Halls of Residence of the University of Westminster, just outside the crime scene, have allegedly received emails stating the gates to campus will remain closed for the next 24 hours.
