Credit and copyright: Owen Llewellyn.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Make sure you go out tonight\u00a0to get a glimpse of the\u00a0rare phenomenon\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Earth\u2019s satellite\u00a0is getting ever closer to our planet.\u00a0According to NASA,\u00a0the Moon to\u00a0<span class=\"s4\">be at its closest\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">point\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">(<\/span><span class=\"s4\">only 221,524 miles\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">away), and be\u00a0<\/span>up to 30% brighter and 14% bigger than average<span class=\"s4\">\u00a0at 11<\/span><span class=\"s4\">:21 London time<\/span><span class=\"s4\">.<\/span><span class=\"s4\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">Yet\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">because it\u2019s too bright at this time, the\u00a0<\/span>best chance to see the \u2018supermoon\u2019 will be around\u00a04.45pm, when it begins to rise and is moving nearest to the horizon.\u00a0The\u00a0skygazing\u00a0may yet be hindered by weather.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.metoffice.gov.uk\/events\/beaver-moon\"><span class=\"s5\">Check the<\/span><span class=\"s5\">local forecast for the event<\/span><\/a><span class=\"s4\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Last time the moon was that close to Earth was in 1948!
