Emily, 20 – \u2018It makes me feel jolly because in December I basically turn into a little Christmas elf. I love the bit when everyone sings and believes in Christmas again.\u2019<\/p>\n

Best for: Watching as you decorate the tree<\/p>\n

Theo, 25 – \u2018It\u2019s so ridiculous and inappropriate, but I loved it when I was younger. I won\u2019t be going to watch Bad Santa 2 this Christmas, though.\u2019<\/p>\n

Best for: Avoiding the holiday cringe<\/p>\n

Margaret, 20 – \u2018Without a doubt it\u2019s the Holiday. It\u2019s got a bit of everything; Christmas, relationships, and a good storyline. And it avoids being too cringey, which I hate. That\u2019s why I hate Love Actually, so many Christmas films are way too cringey for me.\u2019<\/p>\n

Best for: Hungover viewing on News Years Day<\/p>\n

Frances, 20 – \u2018I don\u2019t think it\u2019s too cringey at all. I especially love Martin Freeman and the girl from Gavin and Stacey doing the fake porn. I like how the stories intertwine, and I have a pretty small attention span so short stories are perfect. Love Actually is like a big rush of Christmas all at once.\u2019<\/p>\n

Best for: Watching with your significant other<\/p>\n

Guy, 21 – \u2018British films are always the best. Along with Love Actually, I love Nativity. The first one was amazing but the sequels were crap.\u2019<\/p>\n

Best for: Beating Boxing Day blues<\/p>\n

Richard, 59 – \u2018This film always used to be on on Christmas Day when I was younger. Will they get home for Christmas or won\u2019t they? Funnily enough it all ends happily.\u2019<\/p>\n

Amy, 20 – \u00a0\u2018It\u2019s a fairly new film, but it\u2019s my favourite because it reminds me of my childhood as well as having some adult humour in it. It\u2019s so nostalgic for me, it actually makes me believe in Santa again.\u2019<\/p>\n

Best for: Cuddling up on the sofa with a box of celebrations<\/p>\n
