After walking down the ‘yellow’ carpet at the Roundhouse, Camden last night, both Stormzy and J-Hus received two awards at the ceremony which celebrated grime music. Each awards been\u00a0voted for by the public online apart from Best Artist, Get Rated and the Legacy award, which were decided by an industry panel.<\/p>\n
Stormzy walked away with the most coveted awards of the evening: ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best Video’ for Big For Your Boots<\/a>. Both of these victories were somewhat predictable seeing as his debut album reached U.K. number one this year making it the first independently released grime album to ever top the charts.
