Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong>, the unmissable pop-punk party of the summer, is delighted to reveal that Watford mob\u00a0Lower Than Atlantis<\/strong>, emo icons\u00a0Say Anything,\u00a0<\/strong>Chicago favourites\u00a0Homesafe<\/strong>\u00a0and easycore\u00a0heroes\u00a0Me Vs.\u00a0<\/strong>Hero<\/strong>\u00a0will join the impressive line-up. As well as these exciting new additions, Slam Dunk Festival have also announced stage splits for the May Bank Holiday weekender.<\/p>\n

A true phenomenon within British rock music,\u00a0Lower Than Atlantis<\/strong>\u00a0began last year with a blistering headline show at London\u2019s prestigious Brixton Academy following the release of their fifth studio album \u2018Safe In Sound\u2019 which achieved #8 in the UK official album charts. Armed with an arsenal of anthems from their critically-acclaimed back catalogue, the Watford troupe\u2019s appearance\u00a0Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong>\u00a0will make for a truly undeniable display of British rock excellence.<\/p>\n

The brainchild of frontman Max Bemis,\u00a0Say Anything<\/strong>\u00a0are\u00a0undeniable pop-rock figureheads, steadily releasing exemplary album after album despite multiple lineup changes in their long-standing career. Responsible for the powerfully imaginative single\u2018Alive With The Glory of Love\u2019<\/em>\u00a0and subsequent hit tracks such as \u2018Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too\u2019<\/em>, the electrifying\u00a0\u2018Give A Damn\u2019\u00a0<\/em>and theatrical\u00a0\u2018Boyd\u2019<\/em>\u00a0which featured Sherri Dupree-Bemis, the Californian kings are set to storm the stage when they return to\u00a0Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong>\u00a0in May, following their last appearance at the festival in 2012.<\/p>\n

Homesafe<\/strong>, one of the hottest new names in pop-punk in recent years, see Knuckle Puck\u2019s Ryan Rumchaks switch from bassist to frontman to deliver one of the most-anticipated sets of the weekend as they will be their debut UK performances. Live performances of\u2018Relapse\u2019, \u2018Resolve\u2019 and \u2018When You Left\u2019\u2019<\/em>\u00a0are\u00a0not to be missed.<\/p>\n

In addition to these names,\u00a0Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong>\u00a0are\u00a0proud to announce the exclusive reunion show of their old and treasured friends,\u00a0Me Vs Hero.<\/strong>\u00a0Mixing up pop-punk, hardcore and occasional heavy metal breakdowns, the original UK kings of\u00a0easycore\u00a0are back for\u00a0Slam Dunk<\/strong>, playing their debut album \u2018Days That Shape Our Lives\u2019<\/em>, in full over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Slam Dunk Festival\u00a0<\/strong>is also proud to announce the stage splits for this year\u2019s festival where the\u00a0Jagermeister Stage<\/strong>\u00a0is set to play host to pop-punk titans\u00a0Good Charlotte<\/strong>\u00a0as they make their Slam Dunk Festival debut, alongside arena rockers\u00a0PVRIS\u00a0<\/strong>and ferociousFrank Carter & the Rattlesnakes<\/strong>, as well as amazing acts such as\u00a0State Champs<\/strong>,Knuckle Puck<\/strong>,\u00a0Four Year Strong\u00a0<\/strong>and of course,\u00a0Sleeping with Sirens<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Creeper<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Monster Stage<\/strong>\u00a0will be the place to catch emo-rock legends\u00a0Jimmy Eat World<\/strong>\u00a0as they celebrate their 25th anniversary with their first performance at\u00a0Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong>. Showing them how it\u2019s done will be\u00a0Taking Back Sunday<\/strong>\u00a0who will unite the crowd withheart<\/p>\n

Additional performances from \u00a0Lower Than Atlantis<\/strong>,\u00a0Moose Blood<\/strong>, and\u00a0Twin Atlantic<\/strong>, the\u00a0Monster Stage<\/strong>\u00a0will also see unmissable reunion performances from\u00a0The Audition\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0The Dangerous Summer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Known for bringing the heavy, the\u00a0Impericon stage<\/strong>\u00a0has all bases covered this year with American hardcore punk rockers\u00a0Every Time I Die<\/strong>\u00a0topping the bill.
