Today,\u00a0The Faim<\/strong>\u00a0have partnered with\u00a0Billboard\u00a0<\/strong>to premiere the official video for\u201cSummer Is A Curse,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>the third single from their forthcoming debut album. Watch it exclusively\u00a0HERE<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>or below.<\/p>\n

The highly-anticipated new video follows frontman\u00a0Josh Raven\u00a0<\/strong>and his love interest on the run from the law, eventually escaping before it all goes up in flames. It also showcases the band delivering a stellar live performance with the Welsh countryside as a fitting backdrop.<\/p>\n

The song was co-written with\u00a0Ashton Irwin\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a05 Seconds of Summer,\u00a0<\/strong>and according to Josh,\u00a0\u201c \u2018Summer is a Curse\u2019 is a reflection of our journey as a band. Being placed out of Australia and in LA for the first time as a band, we got thrown into this whole new world of exciting experiences and pressures. As frightening as it was, and no matter our feelings at home, it became this tunnel vision of realising that we had this chance to make our dreams a reality. Our music video reflecting that exact same feeling of freedom was so important for us.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The track\u00a0follows the massive debuts of the quartet\u2019s previous releases, \u201cSaints Of The Sinners<\/a>\u201d and \u201cMidland Line<\/a>.\u201d which collectively have over\u00a01.6 million streams<\/strong>\u00a0to date.\u00a0 All of the band\u2019s songs were produced with the legendary John Feldmann (blink-182, All Time Low, Good Charlotte) and have racked up support from VEVO, BBC Radio 1\u2019s Dan P Carter, Upset, Rock Sound, TMRW, Alternative Press, MTV, The Box, Scuzz and more. The Aussie pop-rock quartet kicked off 2018 with extensive global touring this past 2 months\u00a0supporting\u00a0Lower Than Atlantis<\/strong>,\u00a0Sleeping With Sirens<\/strong>,\u00a0PVMNTS,<\/strong>\u00a0The Dangerous Summer, PVRIS across 5 tours\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a054 shows.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>These included sold out Headline shows and some of the most talked about appearances at\u00a0The\u00a0<\/strong>Great Escape, Slam Dunk, Camden Rocks\u00a0<\/strong>&\u00a0Download festivals.\u00a0<\/strong>The band will return to the UK & Europe later in the Summer for tours\u00a0with\u00a0Waterparks\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Sum 41\u00a0<\/strong>and then\u00a0<\/strong>Reading & Leeds\u00a0Festivals<\/strong><\/p>\n
