A Reward of \u00a310,000 has been offered for any information on the attackers of WWII Veteran.<\/b><\/p>\n

Lord Ashcroft, chair of charity <\/span>Crimestoppers<\/span><\/i><\/a> has offered the incentive for any information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of Peter Gouldstone\u2019s attackers. \u00a0<\/span>The Sun <\/span><\/i>newspaper has announced it will match the reward. <\/span><\/p>\n

Peter Gouldstone, 98, was attacked and found with head injuries in his home in Enfield. \u00a0Mr Gouldstone worked the phone lines in Italy as a former telephone engineer in World War II. <\/span><\/p>\n

Police told the <\/span>BBC <\/span><\/i>that there was clear evidence of a disturbance at Gouldstone\u2019s property and a number of his possessions had been taken during the attack, including a 26-inch Panasonic television.<\/span><\/p>\n
