Fulham have announced the appointment of Claudio Ranieri as first team manager, sacking Jokanovic\u00a0after just 12 games.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The West London side currently sit bottom of the Premier League table with just one win and five points and have conceded the most goals \u2013 31.<\/p>\n

Ranieri is making his return to English football after his sacking by Leicester in February 2017, the season after guiding them to their first Premier\u00a0League\u00a0title. He has since spent one season at Nantes.<\/p>\n

Fulham chairman Shahid Khan told the club website: \u201cI wasn\u2019t anticipating having to make this announcement related to\u00a0Slavisa\u00a0and wish the circumstances were such that I didn\u2019t have to, but our path this season has led me to make what I know is the correct decision, at the right time, for our players, the Club and our supporters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Italian has the international break to get to know his new players before Southampton visit Craven\u00a0Cottage\u00a0on November 24th\u00a0for an early six-pointer.<\/p>\n
